An ardent cat lover and creative writer from Scotland.

A Star is Born

The baby unicorn glows with an inner pink light, the tint of mother love, a light that will not – can never – die.

Destina licks the little girl, and murmurs her name. “Stardust.”

The tiny unicorn shivers and softly neighs. Slowly she struggles to her knees, and then begins to walk.

The glade is silent, hidden eyes bewitched.

Stardust neighs again.

The magic of starlight is in her voice, the soul of a star born below.

She neighs again, and the glade sings with her, the trees fluttering in a melodic breeze that comes from nowhere, but is born to travel far, and touch many hearts with the magic of Stardust’s neigh.

Pegasus looks on approvingly.

Stardust stops and looks up. Invisible stars return her gaze.

Time to Shimmer and Shine

The clock has stopped ticking. A soft neigh sighs in the wind. Then she is here, a horse who shines with white light, an aura of angel energy around her, her eyes pools of deep delight, her unicorn horn glowing with golden fire.

Her name is Destina. She is the unicorn of all unicorns, the oldest and wisest in the forest: but the youngest at heart. Youth and experience are married in her dancing eyes.

It is her today, a time for all tomorrows to begin. A private paradise will be conceived in her heart. Happiness will reign.

She is getting married. Hooves echo on the air, frantic to arrive … it is Pegasus, the father of all horses. Golden wings folding around his lean, strong body, he bows before Destina.

Their horns touch, and silver sparks fly in to the air, merge together and descend.

Their baby is born.

A Magic Clock

It descends from the sky, a clicking piece of raw clear quartz with a traditional clock face, crystals that look like leaves as numbers, a multi-coloured song of time, little yellow citrine, red jasper, blue lace agate, green malachite, indigo lapis lazuli and many more which cheekily defy description, crystals from another dimension, all assisting with some mystic message.

What does it mean? The crystal clock appears when something momentous is about to happen. It could be minutes away … it could be hours.

Listen to the clock tick, and wonder.

Magic Melts In the Sun

The sun’s rays paint a pattern of unearthly light on the glade floor. The air is cool and fresh. The fountain sings in quiet anticipation.

Magic is coming. Hooves are heard in the distance, approaching ever nearer. A soft neigh breaks the silence.

He is here, Saturn the Unicorn. His coat glows with inner beauty and his silver horn sparkles in the sun. He lowers his head to the fountain and drinks.

Its waters turn green, then purple, then blue, as unicorn alchemy repaints the day.

He lifts his head, and the sun rays turn pink. Magic rules the glade as he slowly turns and leaves.

The pink light remains, a remnant of a unicorn’s heart of love.

Emerald Ella

A soft laugh echoes around the still glade, and its crystals begin to hum: they have heard a friend.

Slowly and sleekly she flies down from the branches of a tree, a four inch high lime green gift of joy, pale green wings fluttering delicately. She continues to laugh. Emerald Ella is her name, and she carries the energy of the emerald crystal within her heart, and its gift: a river of love.

“Where are you all?” She is looking for her friends in the crystal fairy world, but she is all alone.

She falls to the fountain, and dances in its water, her emerald soul screaming in delight.

“Come and join me!” But there is no one to hear.

Undeterred, Ella enjoys a long swim on her own, rising every so often to utter her magical little laugh.

Life is good … life is the green of courage, and the sound of green is her laugh, it hangs in the air like a promise of a better tomorrow.

Amethyst Anne

Gemstone Glade attracts many multi-charactered creatures, often mystical, always magical.

Today a quartz crystal fairy is playing in the fountain. Her name is Amethyst Anne.

She sparkles with radiant violet, her wings shimmer in the sun, and the light of love is in her eyes.

She dances in the water, and laughs with the sound of tiny bells.

The water is purified by her presence: now it will be a healing balm to all who drink it, the power of amethyst crystal within it.

Amethyst Anne laughs, then flies away.

But she will be back.

Rose Recital

The giant rose quartz columns are singing, a soft sound on a gentle wind, the song of peace.

Steps can be heard, and then he is here, Saturn the Unicorn, a magnificent marble white beast with a shimmering gold horn. He neighs, turns around, surveying the glade. All is still.

Slowly he drinks from the fountain.

The magical waters energise him, and with a happy grunt he turns and is gone.

All is still in the glade once more.

The rose quartz continues to sing – who else will hear and be enticed in?

The unicorn has left behind him an aura of sacred magic.

The singing grows in intensity.

A new place to play…

Gemstone Glade is in the heart of a secret forest, a magical wood from a dream, the kind you can’t quite remember upon waking up: another world breathing through its trees.

It is a large circular glade, surrounded by tall pine trees. A soft wind continuously plays with their branches, a lullably silence so soft it is hardly noise at all. A stone-work fountain plays its own muted song in the middle of the glade, water sparkling as if on fire.

Giant rose quartz crystals, almost as high as the trees, protect each side of the glade, a web of pink magic reaching out.

Come to the glade to relax, to chill out, to play … but most of all to have fun.

Here you will meet many mythical, magical and magnificent creatures. Enjoy!!
