Diamond Eyes

Diamond Eyes the Unicorn regally trotted in to the glade, tossing her silver mane, her eyes sparkling like the diamonds they were. Great pools of glittering light, no one believed her eyes were really diamond until they met her.

Slowly, she bowed her silver horn to the fountain. Tears formed in her eyes as emotion erupted in her heart. As the tears touched the magical fountain waters, bubbles formed and flew in to the air, growing as they rose and turning in to tiny diamond dolphins!

Diamond Eyes stared in joy at her creation, shedding more tears that in their turn grew in to miniature dolphins.

Silken music caressed her ears as a portal of ocean green light opened above the fountain. Gleefully the miniature dolphins jumped through the opening and were gone. Diamond Eyes gazed after them, curiosity drying her tears and hope widening her eyes. As the portal grew larger, she blinked twice then flew in to the light, the fire of a thousand diamonds reflecting an invisible sun.

She found herself on a rock, glistening ocean all around, a million diamond tears come to life.

Dolphins frolicked in the distance, their song of lyrical laughter all around, an accompaniment to the quiet symphony of the sea.

Then a sparkling dolphin swam towards her rock, its eyes shining with crystal tears. The dolphin was made of diamond. Diamond Eyes shivered. This was a soul mate.

“I am Diamonda,” whispered the dolphin in her mind. “I have dreamt of you. Are you ready for a magical mission?”

This time, the portal was a sparkling diamond. Together, Diamond Eyes and Diamonda jumped to a mystery location. They were in an alien sea, Diamond Eyes swimming next to her new dolphin friend.

“We are here to heal the ocean, we are here to purify Earth’s waters.”

Together, the two swam together towards a pink sunset. Beneath then, the ocean turned cotton blue. On the ocean floor, diamonds birthed like rocks from heaven, guardians of the sea forever.

When Diamond Eyes returned back through the two portals to Gemstone Glade, she felt different. The song of the ocean was in her heart, and diamond wisdom in her soul. She dropped her horn to the fountain one more time. This time pure diamonds were birthed, sinking to the fountain floor, singing softly as they fell.

Diamond Eyes slowly retreated, her diamond eyes on fire, reflecting the power of a thousand sunsets. It had been a day to remember forever, a diamond memory that could never fade.

Moon Rabbit

Unicorn Ryan trots in to Gemstone Glade, excitement sparkling in his eyes, another adventure beckoning like blossom falling from heaven.

The moon kisses Gemstone Glade with lips of silver magic, as Ryan’s horn glows. The moonlight hides the miracles in the air, the mysteries of Gemstone Glade under the safe cloak of night. Ryan unearths the magic tablet gifted to him many moons ago. He is almost at the end of the list engraved on it. The stone shines in the moonlight. Ryan gently touches his horn on the word Moon Rabbit.

A giant moonstone crystal takes shape before Ryan, towering over the glade like a moon fallen from the sky. A dot in its middle grows in to a large hole, until it is tall enough for Ryan to step through. On the other side, he finds himself on a green stony shore, facing a silver sea, seven glowing blue moons above him in a night sky.

“Hello mystery traveller!” The words sing in his head, like moonlight filtering through his soul. A silver rabbit stares up at him, eyes shining with the wisdom of a thousand moons.

“I am Ryan, a unicorn adventurer from Gemstone Glade.”

“Ah, Gemstone Glade,” replies the rabbit. “I have been to the moon above it, so magical, electric with healing energy. All creatures from Gemstone Glade are welcome here. I am Mona the Moon Rabbit, one of an ancient tribe who guard the secrets of moons all over the galaxy. We live on the moons above, jumping between them using a special moon energy vortex. This is how I am here too, on Planet Emerald, land of healing green crystals and home to giant pandas who live here in undisturbed peace. I can take you to our largest moon, Moon Mara. We give them all names. The vortex energy will allow you to breathe on the moon for around thirty minutes.”

Mona waves her paws. A blue tunnel appears, glowing in the dim light. It ascends the sky to one of the moons above.

Ryan follows Mona in to the blue light. The tunnel is springy but supple, taking his weight with no protest. Once on the moon, he gazes down on the shining green planet below.

The moon is indigo blue, and blue lights emanates from it. There are holes in its sandy surface.

“The holes lead to our large underground burrows,” explains Mona. “The small stones you see on the ground contain powerful healing energy.”

Ryan moves a blue stone with his hoof.

“We take these stones to children throughout the galaxy. They can make children’s dreams come true.”

Ryan notices small flowers between the stones. They look like blue dandelions.

“These are moonflowers. We make moonflower nectar, which can extend your life by many years. If you smell it, the magic of moonshine will seed in your heart.”

Ryan sniffs a moonflower, then slowly eats its head.

“You have eaten it!” exclaims Mona. “The magic of moon healing is now part of your soul.”

Mona shows Ryan around the moonscape, pointing our further plants, including blue cacti and blue poppies.

Then it is time to go. The giant moonstone forms again before Ryan, and he steps through. Back in Gemstone Glade, he gazes up to the moon in the sky, feeling a new connection to it.

Slowly, he lowers his horn to the fountain. It shines blue, and the waters turn blue beneath it. The fountain fizzes, and tiny globes appear. Blue bubbles take form and rise to the sky, as seven new moons take their place above Gemstone Glade. Moon magic paints the glade a blissful blue. The Gemstone Glade fairies laugh, flying around like demented divas.

Ryan neighs softly, moon energy behind his eyes, the mysteries of a thousand moons in his heart. The moons above wink in silent prayer. Miracles will unfold below. Ryan closes his eyes as moon energy simmers in his heart. This has been the best adventure yet. However he has a feeling this adventure has only just begun.

White Tiger

Unicorn Ryan walks with purpose through Gemstone Glade, the winter sun setting his horn afire. It is time yet again to find the magic tablet, and recommence his adventures.

He finds the tablet buried in its shallow hiding place. It glows orange today. The word White Tiger leaps to him like a tongue of fire.

Slowly he touches his horn to the word, as heat erupts in his body like a volcano.

An orange ring of tiny flames appears before him. Ryan flies through, and the ring snaps shut.

A lush green jungle greets him, with imposing mountains in the distance. A white tiger walks towards him, jade green eyes sparkling in the sun. His body is lithe but strong, his stare fierce. Ryan knows no fear.

“Welcome, dauntless unicorn,” states the tiger. “I am Winter Sun, tiger elder and keeper of wisdom. It is surprising to meet a unicorn, this is the first time ever that one of your kind has come here. What magic brings you our way?”

Ryan outlines his many adventures to date.

“You are here then to learn,” decides Winter Sun. “You are in a dimension of tigers, the sacred keepers of knowledge. We watch over Planet Earth, and decree where and when a white tiger will be born below. Nothing is by accident. Every time a special human soul incarnates on Earth, we place a white tiger on the planet. The protective energy of the tiger, no matter how many thousand miles away, is then linked to that soul. They have a bubble of tiger energy around them, shielding and sustaining them. White tigers are blessed with limitless courage, we do not entertain fear. We are the knights of the animal kingdom.”

Winter Sun shows Ryan their land. A tall temple confronts them. “This is the library of tiger knowledge and feline wisdom from across millennia. One day an extra special soul will be born on Planet Earth, they will be the greatest spiritual warrior of all time. They will be fierce but wise, and will create an era of peace on Earth.”

They enter the wooden temple, the sun filtering through its windows like an inquisitive onlooker.

“This soul, we will escort them here, to learn, to reflect and to prepare for their mission.”

Ryan gazes at the pictures and books all around, paintings from throughout history, and manuscripts from a time before current civilisation, in a long lost language.

“It is time for you to go,” states Winter Sun. “Perhaps one day, you will team up with a human. I see you with a child, a special child who you can teach. But for now, let me give you a gift. A helper of your own.”

Winter Sun suddenly roars. Within minutes, a white tiger cub stands at the temple door, unsure whether he should enter.

“This is Waterfall. He will return with you, and can assist in your travels and adventures. He will be a great asset.”

So Ryan returns with Waterfall to Gemstone Glade. The young tiger is excited at the prospect of adventure, sniffing around the glade with glee in his eyes. The crystal fairies fly above, happy to find a new friend. Ryan drops his horn to the fountain. The healing waters calm his mind. A feline and fun future awaits.

He unearths the secret tablet, whinnying softly. What adventures await?

There are words in the ancient stone, the names of magical animals. However, today one is shining brightly, like a fallen star trapped in stone.

The word Unicorn bewitches him in its eyeless stare.

Slowly, Ryan places the tip of his unicorn horn on the glittering word. It turns blue. Then a giant transparent star descends, twinkling like a Christmas tree light, as blue as a deep sea on a sunny day.

Ryan neighs as the star shimmers before him. Then he steps in to the blue light, and is gone.

Blue light dazzles his eyes, then fades as he enters a world of blue beauty. An indigo sky kisses a sapphire lake, and blue-leaved trees line its shores like a protective army.

A breeze lifts his mane, and he hears steps behind. Turning, he beholds a beautiful unicorn with blue eyes and an indigo horn. She nods her head.

“A living unicorn arrives, as the prophecy predicts. You are not of this land, how did you find your way here?”

Ryan introduces himself, and briefly explains that he came here via a portal in Gemstone Glade.

“A beautiful forest space, I know it well although have not visited in years. I am Timelessa, master unicorn, keeper of knowledge and guardian of unicorn secrets. This is a land between worlds, and a resting place for unicorn souls between lives. You do not belong here, but you may stay awhile. There is a prophecy that a male unicorn will meet me here one day, and we will beget an extra special foal. However that is only half the prophecy, you will find out the remainder of your mission one day I have no doubt.”

She lowers her horn, and Ryan tentatively touchs it to his own. A magic golden cloud appears above.

“It is done,” intones Timelessa. “A unicorn foal will be born.”

The golden cloud settles at Timelessa’s feet, and begins to take on the form of a tiny gold unicorn.

“This is a special and powerful foal,” states Timelessa, licking the newborn soul with tenderness. “Never before have I encountered a golden unicorn. He is a miracle in living flesh.”

The golden foal opens his eyes. They are indigo blue, deep seas of ancient knowledge.

“He will be cared for well,” promises Timelessa. “I shiver at the magic he may be here to do.”

Ryan stares in delight and disbelief. Has he really just fathered a child?

“I will give you one unicorn secret to dwell on,” announces Timelessa. “Then it is time for you to go. But I feel that one day you may meet your child again, and when you do the second part of the prophecy will come true.”

“It has been an honour to meet you,” says Ryan softly.

“This is a unicorn secret. The unicorn tribe in days of old inhabited Planet Earth. We chose collectively to leave as we were hunted for our magical horns. Earth still remembers us, although they think we are just a nice myth. Today’s children love us, there are many unicorn books and toys. One day, we are destined to return. That will be a special day. This foal here, may be the start of that return.”

Ryan smiles inwardly. A future paradise lights his heart like a prayer. Will he one day run through the meadows of Planet Earth?

Ryan gazes in to the eyes of his son, and then speaks his name. “Indigo, his name is Indigo.”

“A wise choice,” declares Timelessa.

It is time to leave. Ryan flies through the waiting star, and is gone. Timelessa nudges her foal with motherly murmurs. The young foal gazes around, at once bewildered yet at home. A star suddenly appears above his head, shining bright gold. Then it flies up and away.

Down below on Planet Earth, the star traverses the night sky, lighting up statues beneath, turning them in to a brilliant gold. It is a sign. A new dawn will come.

Musa

The moon shone on Gemstone Glade, sparkling in its fountain waters, kissing its sentry crystals. The night felt magical, as enigmas raced like electricity through the air. Something special was imminent.

The she was there, a unicorn so rarely seen to be a myth. Musa, her soft sapphire eyes glinting in the moonlight, her silver horn shining with inner power.

It is said that when she appears momentous change will dawn. No one knows where she lives, what she does with her days. In her shadow, miracles follow like reflections of the moon.

Musa neighed softly, and slowly drank from the fountain. Its healing waters invigorated her. She neighed again.

Magic mutated in her eyes. Musa’s gift was unusual. She would make patterns in the air with her horn, and crystals of different sizes and shapes would materialise.

Today, she waved her horn above the fountain. Its waters bubbled, a crystal rising like a shipwreck coming back to life. A large clear quartz cluster shone in the moonlight.

Musa dropped her horn, thanking the crystal for coming. Then she slowly retreated.

The crystal floated magically in the fountain, a voyage to somewhere enchanted singing in its crystal sails.

Then it began to change shape.

Slowly, shining crystal towers appeared on top of tiny turrets, as a grand castle formed like a fortress from heaven. The crystal castle rose and drifted in to the night.

The moon continued to shine, a mother looking down on Earth, dreaming of a better future.

The castle climbed higher and higher, its final destination to be a stone of destiny. The moon would gain treasure, a relic of magic that would wait for all time, growing younger rather than older, waiting for man to return. And when he did, the ancient magic of living crystal would greet him, its gift of hope for a new age, its hello to an enchanted forever.

One day, Musa might visit the moon too. And that would be the day a great miracle is unleashed, a tsunami of wishes and wonders in her wake. It is a day that many civilisations await, a day of reckoning, a moment of magic that will never be forgotten.

Musa neighed softly again, secrets slumbering in her eyes. Then she retreated from the glade as quietly as she arrived.

On Planet Earth, a small child called Sam stared at the moon through his telescope, an early Christmas gift from a visiting aunt. Then he saw it. A flash of light on the moon. He smiled. Perhaps the moon really would make all his wishes come true.

The moon glowed in the night sky, secrets in its heart like a promise of a better tomorrow. And somewhere on its surface, a magic crystal began to sing.

Dragon Destiny

Unicorn Ryan enters Gemstone Glade, the desire for magic melting his heart, and the wish to once again connect with the mysterious tablet gifted to him in this Christmas story, followed by this Christmas story, and further pursued here: Griffin Gala | Gemstone Glade and here: Phoenix Prayer | Gemstone Glade

Ryan neighs softly in happy anticipation of adventure. Today, he nudges the magic tablet with excitement, then softly brushes his unicorn horn over the word Dragon.  The tablet turns red.

With a loud crackle, a giant ring of fire appears. Ryan jumps through, a magic mission thundering through his veins, flames in his eyes.

He is in a mountainous terrain with smoke simmering on the horizon. Purple mist kisses his ankles. A green sun scorches the sky. Tall trees surround him, like signposts leading the way to the edge of a stone mountain. His horn grows hot.

The air is full of the pungent taste of sweet smoke. Ryan breathes it in happily. Perhaps it is a healing smoke.

From the rocky slope of the mountain, a huge dragon surveys him. She is atop a nest of orange eggs. Her eyes are red, her body orange and her wings are scarlet. She is surely a dragon queen, her still stare speaking of power but also dignity.

“Who comes here?” she accosts him.

Ryan neighs in friendship, and circles his horn, offering a unicorn blessing.

“I am Ryan, and I am exploring different worlds which I access through a magic tablet. I am here to learn, to experience, to share unicorn wisdom … above all, to help in any way I can.”

“I am Briona, Queen of the Red Ray. I have a mission for you, if you choose to accept.”

Ryan sits down in deference, lowering his horn.

“I am so pleased to meet you. There is an ancient prophecy about a unicorn. But there is also a very real special dragon here, in our world. Her name is Lilac, and she is the first known dragon born with a horn resembling a unicorn’s. She is secretive and lives alone, seeing no one. I would like you to find her. Perhaps together you can find a joint cause. I believe she is within the caves of Moonstone Mountain.”

Ryan can feel his horn burning.

“Your horn is glowing red. Do you feel her presence? Can you reach out to Lilac?”

Ryan closes his eyes. He can see a crystalline cave in his mind. That is where he must go.

“I accept the mission,” he states simply.

Ryan travels through the strange world for a day and a night, passing beneath towering rocky mountains, walking through stony valleys with strange shrubs. Then he is there, before a shining mountain with caves at its foot. “Moonstone Mountain,” he murmurs.

His horn is hot again, and it guides him to the correct cave entrance.

“Lilac,” he softly intones. And then she is there, standing timidly at the cave door. A silver dragon with lilac wings and deep purple eyes.

“I have dreamt of you. And now you are here. A unicorn cousin.”

Her small unicorn horn is lepidolite crystal, glimmering in the light of a purple moon above.

“Come.” Lilac welcomes Ryan to her cave, and its nest of multi-coloured eggs – pink, blue, orange, green, and rainbow striped.

“These eggs are the dragon children of the future. They will be born to create destiny. I will bring them each up to befriend a child – a special child – on Planet Earth below. They will guide the children of destiny, the seed of a new world. They will be protector dragons, and will be magical beyond belief.”

Ryan neighs softly, realising that he in the presence of greatness.

“And you  … will you help? When the babies are old enough to leave the nest? Will you return and help me find their new homes? To fulfil their destinies?”

“Of course … but how will I know it is time?”

“When you dream of Moonstone Mountain beneath a full purple moon, then it is time. Return then.”

Ryan steps out of the cave, and looks up at the moon. In its soft light, all dreams seem possible. A mission lights in his heart like a purple flower. Magic runs in his veins, and his heart beats with unicorn blessings. The divine will dance with dragons. And miracles will follow, like sun after the rain. The moon looks down, lilac fire in its still heart. Ryan neighs, and moonlight sparkles in his horn. The night simmers with the promise of a better tomorrow.

Phoenix Prayer

This story is dedicated to the late actor River Phoenix

Unicorn Ryan enters Gemstone Glade, adventure skydiving through his soul, and the wish to once again connect with the magic tablet gifted to him in this Christmas story, followed by this Christmas story, and further pursued here: Griffin Gala

Steel resolve glows red in Ryan’s eyes, molten metal heating his heart. He is ready. Today, he nudges the magic tablet with joy, rubbing his unicorn horn slowly over the word Phoenix.  Flames flicker behind his eyes, as sparks rise from the stone tablet.

A huge ring of smoke appears. Ryan jumps gracefully through, arriving in a land of golden grass and towering trees with magenta pink leaves. Smoke snakes through the air, like the breath of a sleeping dragon. Piles of ash punctuate the grass with dots of grey. Then Ryan hears the birdsong, like an orchestra on fire, the rhythm of life itself, a disco of audible daylight, the music of forever.

Cautiously, Ryan approaches a pile of ashes within the grass, smoke massaging his mind with an incomprehensible message. As the air clears, a huge bird emerges from the ashes, with green, orange and magenta pink feathers. He is beauty incarnate, a pledge of gentle power in his eyes.

“I am Riviera, and I am a phoenix reborn. My first vision denotes my mission in this, my new life. And I see you, a unicorn. There is a prophecy about a lone unicorn, a story of hope reborn. My mission, then, to help unicorns.”

“I am Ryan, I have arrived here through a portal in Gemstone Glade.”

“Take me there.”

The phoenix stretches his massive wings, as Ryan jumps back through the portal of smoke. The phoenix follows, a majestic and surprise guest even for somewhere as magical as Gemstone Glade.

Riviera appraises the glade with his deep emerald green eyes. “There is another, smaller glade,” he says softly, “to the east of here. Take me there.”

Ryan is surprised. No new arrival in Gemstone Glade has asked for a smaller, less magical glade instead! “You must mean Sunstone Glade, named after the large crystal in its middle. Come with me.”

They arrive in the tiny glade, its large crystal glinting in the spring sunlight. Moonlight, Ryan’s great grandfather, lies against the crystal. His eyes are weary, and his breath is laboured.

“My grandson, it is my time,” murmurs Moonlight.

The phoenix begins to sing. Moonlight closes his eyes, the song stirring his soul, a silver spoon from heaven. His black wings flutter, then are still.

Flames suddenly appear around the ancient unicorn. “Moonlight!” cries Ryan. “Leave him, it is okay,” reassures Riviera. “I am saving him.”

The flames grow higher and higher, as the sunstone begins to sing. It is the sound of all the world’s secrets, and of all the love in the cosmos sighing for a better forever.

Higher and higher still, then the flames start to subside, forming ashes in their retreat. And at the heart of the ashes, lies a black unicorn foal.

“Moonlight!” gasps Ryan.

“I am now Stormlight,” murmurs the foal. “I have the soul of Moonlight, but the heart of a new born. I am reborn. Thank you, noble phoenix, thank you so much.”

“I didn’t know phoenixes could rebirth other species!” cries Ryan in disbelief.

“Technically, it’s not usually permitted,” confides Riviera. “But I made an exception. Just for you.”

Stormlight slowly totters to his feet, unsure in his new body.

“Your new life mission is determined by what you see,” confides Riviera. “A sunstone, and a phoenix. You surely have an interesting life ahead of you!”

“Thank you,” murmurs Stormlight. “Thank you so much.” He flutters his new black wings, and neighs in happiness.

“How can I ever repay you?” Ryan asks Riviera.

“All you need to do, is live your life. There is a prophecy that may come true. Ryan, you will see me again.” And with that Riviera disappears in a cloud of smoke.

Ryan and Stormlight slowly saunter to Gemstone Glade, where they are greeted by the crystalline fairies, always happy to welcome a unicorn foal. Stormlight drinks from the magical fountain, thirsty for its healing balm. Ryan walks back to the tablet, and ponders his next adventure. All is happy as time seems to stand still in Gemstone Glade, a mirage hidden from real life, a home to mysteries.

Far away, in Phoenix World, a party is commencing. The birds know that Riviera has performed forbidden magic, and they sing in delight. A new world of possibilities is born in their hearts. The rebirth of the unicorn heralds a new dawn, and a destiny as bright as a diamond.

Griffin Gala

Unicorn Ryan enters Gemstone Glade with a mission burning in his eyes: to once again connect with the magic tablet gifted to him in this Christmas story, followed by this Christmas story. Christmas is gone (at least until the next one) but magic exists beyond Christmas, indeed magic is required all year round to fight and right all the ills of the world.

Ryan gently nudges the tablet, where it lies half concealed by earth. Crystalline fairies join him, swiftly removing all the dirt.

As Ryan touches the tablet with his horn, it lights up. Words transfix him with their promise of secret worlds. Today, he will choose the word Griffin.

He rubs his horn over the word. A fiery red portal of light appears before him. Ryan’s heart skips with joy. Another adventure!

Ryan steps through the ring of light, confidence and caution competing in his heart.

A sun filled day greets him like a friendly horn rub. Crystalline hills are all around, extending to the horizon, seemingly unending in their dominion of the land. Between the hills, fiery orange grass glows brightly in the sun.

The crystalline hills are different colours: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, magenta, indigo. Ryan counts the red hills, then the orange ones, and so on, trying to work out which is the dominant colour. He doesn’t know why he does this. Perhaps he just needs to focus on something.

There is movement above. He notices what look like large bird nests on the top of each hill. A massive bird is flying towards him. It is an eagle? Or is it a fabled griffin, half eagle and half lion?

The mighty winged beast lands before him. It is a griffin. Ryan’s hear skips a beat as he beholds the kingly animal, its large eyes burning in to his like a pair of suns.

“A unicorn enters our land via a magic portal,” murmurs the griffin, its eyes on his. “A prophecy has awakened.”

“I am Ryan.” The words evaporate in the air before the power of the griffin’s stare. “I was gifted a magic tablet. I am here to find out about the mighty griffin.”

“And I am Titan, one of hundreds of griffins here. We are guardians of ancient knowledge. The secrets of a million years live in our hearts. Here, in this world, we are all responsible for a different dish of wisdom. The knowledge never dies. In our nests, which you see at the top of each hill, we sleep on top of griffin eggs. They can take a hundred years or more to hatch. They are born for two reasons: when we are nearing the end of our lives, they then take over and we impart all our knowledge to them. However, sometimes an egg hatches for a different reason. This is so that it will leave the nest, with the knowledge of its mother or father, and take that information in to the world. That can be one of many worlds; we look after the wisdom and knowledge of countless planets and dimensions. The baby griffin is born to rebirth that knowledge where it needs to go.”

Ryan’s eyes are misty with tears. The griffin magic has overcome him. What incredibly important beings, how tremendous their life purpose!

The griffin watches him. “Do you know why you are here Ryan?”

“I was given a magic tablet … “

“Yes, yes, I know. But why are you here now, in this very second, when you could have come tomorrow or the day after?”

“I chose to learn about the griffin today … “

“No, we chose you. We called to you through the channels of interdimensional communication. You are here for a reason. You are here to help us.”

“Me? How?”

“There is an egg starting to crack in my nest. And then you appear. The new griffin is arriving to take a secret to Planet Earth. You are here to bless it with unicorn wisdom. Come, fly with me to my nest.”

Ryan smoothly flies behind the giant griffin. The nest is full of bright yellow eggs: the same colour as its crystalline hill. Ryan cautiously lands next to the nest, and looks with eager anticipation at the small egg with multiple cracks in the middle. More cracks appear, the sound like the hope of spring in the air.

Then the egg breaks in two, and a tiny griffin emerges, its little black eyes blinking in the unaccustomed light.

“Welcome, little Tiddius,” croons Titan softly.

The little griffin’s wings are rose pink.

“The colour of his wings will change as he gets older,” explains Titan. “The colour he is born with, however, denotes his life purpose. This griffin will work with the magic of pink, the colour of heart energy. He has been born, not to take over from me, but to take the secret of pink heart energy love to Planet Earth. It is his time to awaken universal love on this planet, and to teach the healing powers of the pink ray. He is here to bring great peace to Planet Earth, for when its peoples are attuned to the pink ray of love, all wars will end, forever. But first, he will enjoy a few months as a child griffin and I will prepare him for his mission.”

“And why am I here?” asks Ryan.

“You are here to bless him with unicorn magic, so that added to the pink ray of love is the unicorn gift of gentleness. Lower your horn to his head now.”

Ryan does as instructed. He feels unicorn energy flood his horn with its waters of wisdom.

“Thank you,” intones Titan. “And good luck, Ryan. I can tell that you have many adventures ahead of you. And a prophecy to deliver. You are welcome to return here any time.”

The fiery portal of light appears again. Ryan steps through, the pink ray of love in his heart. Somehow, he knows that the birth of this tiny griffin has made the universe a better place. As he arrives in Gemstone Glade, the fountain waters turn pink. He has brought the pink ray magic with him. Ryan neighs softly, happiness sighing in his heart. For wherever the pink ray goes, it heals. And love will conquer all.
